Samsung Introduces Temporary Cloud Backup for Global – Samsung announced Temporary Cloud Backup, this feature is useful for storing and transferring important data such as photos, videos and personal files.

Temporary Cloud Backup is the latest feature added to Samsung Cloud, reducing users’ risk of losing data on lost, stolen, or damaged Samsung Galaxy devices.

Data is retained for up to 30 days from the user’s initial backup date. Within this period, users will be able to recover their data and will be notified when the time limit approaches before their data is automatically deleted.

Temporary Cloud Backup can be used when the cellphone is repaired. Samsung now includes Temporary Cloud Backup as part of Maintenance Mode, helping ensure data is safe and can be backed up for recovery after repairs.

A temporary Cloud Backup rollout takes place starting in the fall for all smartphones and tablets with One UI 6, starting with the Galaxy S and Z series in Korea.
