How to Use Emergency SOS via Satellite on iPhone 14 – Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro devices, can use the Emergency SOS feature via satellite to send an SMS to emergency services when out of cellular and Wi-Fi coverage.

According to Apple, Emergency SOS via satellite will be provided free of charge for two years, after the user activates the iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Pro.

For ideal conditions with an unobstructed view of the sky, the message might take up to 15 seconds to send.

In addition, connection time can be affected by the surrounding environment, message length, satellite network status and availability.
