KingdomTaurusNews.com – Blackmagic Design announced DaVinci Resolve for iPad and is compatible with iPadOS 16 or later.
Blackmagic Design makes optimizations for Apple Silicon, for 4x faster Ultra HD ProRes rendering on the new iPad Pro that uses the M2 chip.
Additionally, HDR is also supported for creators using the 12.9-inch iPad Pro with M1 chip. File formats that DaVinci Resolve for iPad support include H.264, H.265, Apple ProRes and Blackmagic RAW.
DaVinci Resolve for iPad also features Blackmagic Cloud support, the DaVinci Resolve app will be available in Q4 2022 via the Apple App Store and will come as a free download, as well as in-app purchases.
Created clips are imported from iPad Pro’s internal storage and externally connected Photos, iCloud and USB-C libraries.
DaVinci Resolve for iPad is also compatible with DaVinci Resolve 18 project files. The app also works with Apple Pencil, Magic Trackpad, Magic Keyboard, and Smart Keyboard Folio.
