Samsung’s newly announced LPDDR5X DRAM with the fastest speed ever, of 8.5 gigabits per second (Gbps) is coming to the Snapdragon mobile platform.
“At Qualcomm Technologies, we are the first in the mobile industry to enable the new LPDDR5X at 8.5Gbps on the Snapdragon mobile platform, which will enhance user experience and improve performance for mobile apps, games, cameras and AI,” said Ziad Asghar, Vice President of Product Management, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.
According to a Samsung report, LPDDR DRAM is expanding beyond smartphones, PCs, high-performance computing (HPC), servers, and cars.
