How to use AirDrop on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch – Are you a new Apple user, are you familiar with AirDrop and how to use AirDrop on iPhone. AirDrop is a file sharing feature between Apple device users via Bluetooth and WiFi connections on Apple devices.

To get started with trying AirDrop on Apple, start by making sure the person you’re sending the content to is within Bluetooth and Wi-Fi range. Make sure you and the person sent the file have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on. File recipients set AirDrop to receive only from Contacts. Turn off Personal Hotspot if it is on.

If they’ve already done so and you’re in their Contacts, they’ll need to have your email address or Apple ID phone number on their contact card in order to use AirDrop. If you’re not in their Contacts, make sure they’ve configured their AirDrop reception setting to Everyone so they can receive files.
