iOS 15.4 Beta: Face ID Can Unlock iPhone with Mask – Apple has rolled out iOS 15.4 Beta for developers, and now allows Face ID to unlock iPhone when the user is wearing a mask.

For the current version of iPhone users, you must remove the mask when you want to use Face ID. While there are solutions in the form of the Apple Watch, not all of them will do that.

According to reports obtained, the “Face ID with a Mask” feature only supports iPhone 12‌, 12 mini, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max or iPhone 13, 13 mini, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max. Face ID still requires you to take off your sunglasses.

Because it is still in beta, it is hoped that later iOS 15.4 will be further refined for a more comfortable use of Face ID, when unlocking the iPhone.
